Hi, thanks for visiting my site. My name is Nicholas Byfleet and I am a mathematics and finance student at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Born in Rotorua, New Zealand, I lived in the United Kingdom for about the first ten years of my life before our family moved to the United States of America in 2002. After graduating from Chagrin Falls High School in 2008, I entertained a brief desire to study theology at Grove City College, Pennsylvania. When that didn’t work out as planned, I went to New Zealand seeking a change in direction.
I am about mid way through my degree, but taking a bit of a break while I complete an extended internship at the investment banking arm of Cleveland, Ohio based Key Corp, KeyBanc Capital Markets. I am working in the high grade and high yield origination and execution group, which is part of KeyBanc’s debt capital markets division. My plans for the future are a bit murky, but I intend on finishing my degree in New Zealand and then embarking on a career in finance, maybe at Key if they take me back.
